Description
The storehouse at Budgenor Lodge, located to the west of the main building, is a detached structure that partially forms the west side of the courtyard. It was likely built around 1834. The building is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice. It features a hipped tiled roof and retains its glazing bars. At the south end of the ground floor, there are two arched openings. On the east side, above the center of the roof, there are remains of a turret; the lower part is tile-hung, while the upper part is weather-boarded and has a clock face, although the cupola above is missing. The building has two storeys and four windows. Originally, it contained two cells that had iron-studded doors, which are said to have been brought from Midhurst Prison.
