Description
The fountain located to the south of All Saints' Church is a drinking fountain and pump, dated 1874. It features a stone pier set on a stepped pedestal, topped with a stone-tiled pyramidal cap that has a ball finial and is supported by corbelling. The face of the pier is cut back in an arch around a circular plaque that reads 'ERECTED BY SUBSCRIPTION 1874'. The cast-iron pump is designed in a neo-Gothic style, framed by an aedicular structure with an ogee arch above. The pump includes a bowl on a column and a tap in its upper part.
