Description

This barn, dating from the 17th to 18th century, is located next to the stables of the former Watergate House in Compton West Marden. It is a timber-framed structure that is covered with weather-boarding and features a hipped tiled roof. The building has two wagon entrances, which are flanked by sections of the roof known as pentice portions. Inside, the roof is supported by queen-posts.
