Description

Church Road Cottages, consisting of Nos 3 and 4, are two cottages dating from the 16th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century. They feature a massive exposed timber frame with painted brick infill, while the other walls are made of painted brickwork. The cottages have a tile roof that is hipped at the west end. The north front displays two phases and is two storeys high with four irregularly placed windows, which are casements. There are two boarded doors set in plain frames, each topped with mid-19th century gabled canopies.
