Description

The Parish Church of St Nicholas is a Grade I listed Church of England building located in Iford. It features a narrow structure comprising a chancel and nave, with a tower situated between them, topped by a shingled spire. The nave dates back to the early 12th century, while the tower and chancel were built in the late 12th century. A late 12th-century north aisle that once existed has since been demolished. The entire building underwent significant restoration in the 19th century.
