Description
Nos 86, 87, and 88 The Warren is a row of three cottages that have been converted into houses and a hostel. They date from the 18th century and were altered in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed of flint and red brick, topped with a tiled roof. They are single-depth houses with a continuous rear outshut and stand two storeys high, featuring five windows across the front, which have small paned casements. Each cottage has a three plank door with a gabled hood. The front wall of the center cottage has been partially rebuilt in red brick. The roof is plain and has three ridge stacks. The rear elevation shows some alterations, with a continuous outshut and a small projecting wing at one end, along with a central gabled dormer. The interiors have not been inspected.
