Description

This is a terrace of houses located at 17-25 Lansdown Place in Lewes. Dating from the early 19th century, the terrace is constructed of grey brick with red brick quoins and dressings. The roof is slate, with tall lateral brick ridge stacks, one serving each house, positioned towards the right-hand side. The three-storey facade has a five-window arrangement, with glazing bar sash windows in each bay, visually separated by the red brick quoins. Each house has an arched entrance on the left side, leading to panelled doors. Nos. 21, 23 and 25 have half-glazed doors. Above each door is a fanlight with radiating glazing.
