Description
This former farm outbuilding, located to the northeast of the Old Bell House, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble gritstone, featuring quoins, coped gables, moulded kneelers, and an end ridge stack, topped with a Welsh slated roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The first floor has 19th-century casements with glazing bars set beneath plain lintels. The central first-floor window has a fixed light, while the ground floor openings, which have shallow arched heads, are fitted with shutters. A central doorway features a massive lintel and jambs, leading to a plain planked door. The building is listed for its group value only.
