Description
The wall and summerhouse at the north end of the garden in front of Crag Hall were built around 1820. The wall is made of random rubble sandstone and stands 12 feet high, serving as a north screen for the garden. At the west end of the wall is a summerhouse constructed from rock-faced coursed rubble, topped with a roof of large slates. The summerhouse features a half-octagon end that includes a later addition of a recessed door with four panels, flanked on each side by a single-pane window set in an iron frame. This structure is listed for its group value only.
