Description

The south-east gate piers and wing walls to Crag Hall, dating from around 1820, are constructed of stone. The gate piers are monolithic and feature pyramid tops, while the wing walls are made of rubble that curves up to rusticated ashlar end piers. These end piers have diminishing cavetto caps that support small square urn finials. The structure is listed primarily for its group value.
