Description

The former game larder, now disused, was built in 1909, possibly by Romaine-Walker. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and has an octagonal shape. The building features a moulded plinth, architrave, and cornice, along with a blocking course. A moulded segmental pediment is located on the southwest side. Most of the faces, except one, have a large stone cross-window that was originally filled with wire mesh but is now open. One side serves as the entrance. The Gardens and Park surrounding the larder are listed on the Gardens Register at Grade I.
