Description

Numbers 1 and 2 Wesley Square are early 19th-century townhouses situated above shops. The main west front is constructed of coursed stone, topped with Welsh slate roofs that feature stone copings and kneelers, along with brick chimneys. The other elevations are made of yellow brick, accented with stone quoins and a plinth. The river front has four storeys, while the rear has three storeys, arranged in pairs of two bays. Most windows are sash, some include glazing bars, and one window is tripartite with fixed side lights. The stone lintels, particularly those on the Chapel yard front, are incised. The entrances are fitted with four-panel doors.
