Description

Coastguard Cottage is a house that has been divided into two dwellings, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a Welsh slate roof with stone copings and kneelers, along with rendered end chimneys. The building has a wood eaves cornice supported by paired brackets. It stands three storeys tall with a basement and has two windows on the upper floors, which are late 19th century sashes set under stone lintels, except for a modern window in the basement. Access to the paired doors, which are set under a single lintel, is via four steps with iron handrails; one door has four panels while the other is half glazed.
