Description
High Cote is a house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from herringbone-tooled sandstone and features a timber porch, a pantile roof, and brick stacks. The house has a central-entry plan and is two stories high with a two-window front. There is a boarded front door located in a gabled porch, and to the left, there is a second boarded door with a painted lintel. To the left of the front door, there is a small 8-pane sash window, and to the right, a small pane tripartite window with a central sash. On the first floor, there are squat 8-pane sashes. The gables are coped, and there are stacks at both ends of the building.
