Description
This boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 1940 meters south of Home Farmhouse in Hutton Lowcross. It is made of roughly dressed limestone and stands about 75 centimeters tall, with dimensions of 40 centimeters by 37 centimeters. The north face of the stone is inscribed with "T.K.S. 1815." This stone marks the boundary between the civil parishes of Guisborough and Great Ayton, as well as the counties of Cleveland and North Yorkshire.
