Description

This chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 7 metres south of the porch of the Church of St. Andrew in Ingleby Greenhow. It is constructed of stone and features a roll-moulded band at the base. The lid has a cyma-moulded arris and displays worn lettering, with the name 'William' still being legible.
