Description
Lythe Hall is a house dated 1660, as indicated above the entrance, with various alterations and additions. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and brick chimneys. The front of the building is irregular in shape. On the left side, there is a 1½-storey, 2-bay section that has narrow proportions, with upper windows that break the eaves. Next to this is a porch that rises to 2 storeys and an attic, featuring a 6-panel door. Following the porch is a 1-storey, 2-bay section with long windows. Finally, there is a 3-bay continuation that also has one storey and an attic. All the windows throughout the building are sashes with glazing bars.
