Description
Ye Olde Beehive Inn is an inn that likely dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some alterations. It is constructed from large coursed squared stone and is whitewashed. The roof is pantiled, featuring stone copings and square kneelers, with brick chimneys at either end. The building has one storey and an attic, with a total of six bays that are arranged very irregularly. There are three dormers, which contain early 20th-century casements with glazing bars, two of which break the eaves. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars set in wooden architraves, one small fixed light, a boarded door, and three small plain 20th-century casements. The leftmost window is set in a stone architrave with a triple bay and features an old, small Yorkshire sash window above it.
