Description

Cross Butts is a building dating from the 17th century, located on Guisborough Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of stone, featuring a Welsh slate roof with stone-capped gables. Originally, the building had four stone mullioned windows, but these have been replaced with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. A notable feature is the projecting stone porch, which has a capped gable and a slightly stilted chamfered stone archway.
