Description
Ellerby Lodge is a house that likely dates from the late 16th century and has undergone alterations and extensions over time. The building consists of three sections. The south part features large coursed squared stone that has been tooled for render, with a pantiled roof, stone-coped gables, and brick chimneys. This section has two low storeys and two irregular bays, with stepped and chamfered stone-mullioned windows that are now blocked. The central part is one storey with an attic and has four narrow irregular bays, with upper windows inserted that break the eaves. It also includes various 19th and 20th century sash and casement windows. The north part, which is probably from the 18th century, has two storeys and two bays, with replaced sash windows that feature glazing bars. Additionally, there is a 20th century porch.
