Description
This is an early 19th-century former farmhouse and outbuilding, located on the east side of Ryeland Lane in Ellerby. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone and has a Welsh slate roof with stone copings and stone stacks. It is two storeys high and originally comprised three wide bays. One original three-light window with glazing bars and a small opening section remains; the other windows are two- and three-light Yorkshire sashes. To the left is a former granary, with a stone forestair leading to a first-floor entrance and a former barn situated below.
