Description
This bridge, located 70 meters west of Hutton Hall, carries a driveway over a stream and was built around 1866, contemporary with Hutton Hall. It features a moulded, pointed-segmental arch made of rock-faced and ashlar sandstone. The spandrels have circular recesses, and the brick parapets are decorated with pierced lozenge and Star-of-David motifs, topped with stone copings. The bridge is supported by a foundation of rough-hewn boulders that form the banks of the stream. It is included for its group value as part of the architectural entity with Hutton Hall.
