Description
This bridge, built around 1866, carries a driveway over a stream and is located 250 meters northwest of Hutton Hall. It is made of rock-faced sandstone and features a segmental arch that springs from rough-hewn boulders, which also form the banks of the stream and contribute to a waterfall to the east of the bridge. The faces of the parapet piers are adorned with carved trefoil motifs, and the parapets end in short drum inner piers. The bridge is included for its group value as part of the architectural context with Hutton Hall.
