Description
Nos 50-56 on North End is a row of four houses built in the early 19th century, with later alterations. The houses are constructed from ashlar stone and feature a pantile roof. They are two storeys high and consist of four bays, with each cottage being a single bay. The buildings have quoins and feature half-glazed doors, with one located to the left of No 50 and another to the right of No 56. Nos 54 and 52 have glazed doors, while No 56 has side-sliding sash windows with glazing bars. No 54 has 20th-century casement windows in enlarged openings, along with a small casement window above the door on the first floor. No 52 also has side-sliding sashes with glazing bars, while No 50 features 20th-century casements with glazing bars. All the houses have stone sills and lintels, stone coping, end stacks, and two stacks along the ridge.
