Description

This is an early 19th-century house with attached garden walls and railings. The house is constructed of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central bay features a glazed door with a blind, radially glazed fanlight, surrounded by stone including reeded Doric pilasters, an archivolt, and a fluted keystone. Flanking this central bay are 20th-century additions. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows with stone sills, each set within a flat stone arch with voussoirs. A moulded stone cornice runs along the top of the house, and there are shaped kneelers near the roof. Stone coping and end stacks are also present. A garden wall is attached to the front of the house, featuring chamfered copings topped by iron railings situated between rusticated stone piers each capped with a pyramid.
