Description

A row of six houses built in the early 19th century, located on North End, Osmotherley. The houses are constructed of ashlar and have Welsh slate roofs. They are arranged over two storeys, with each house originally having a single bay. Three of the houses on the left are slightly set back from the main line. Quoins are visible on the exterior. Each house has a doorway with an overlight, with the doorway to the right-hand house containing a six-panel door. The doorways to the left-hand houses and number 74 have four-panel doors, while the others are glazed. The windows are primarily 16-pane sashes with glazing bars and stone sills, although the windows in number 76 are casements. Decorative shaped kneelers and stone coping are present. A stack is located at the left end of the row, and there are six ridge stacks.
