Description

This is a sundial located approximately 12 metres north of the Wesleyan Chapel in Bransdale. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone with a copper gnomon. The sundial features a cylindrical column that stands about 1.10 metres high. The upper face has a shallow-cut dial, which is now almost indecipherable.
