Description
Church Dale Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with alterations and a new roof added around 1850. It features herringbone-tooled sandstone on a plinth and has a slate roof. The layout includes a central stairhall plan, with the building being 1½ rooms deep and a service wing on the side. The front is two stories high with three windows, and there is a two-story, one-window wing on the right. The main entrance has a four-panel door with an overlight, and the front has 16-pane sash windows, while the first floor of the wing has a four-pane sash window. All windows have stone sills and herringbone-tooled lintels. The farmhouse has corbelled eaves, coped gables, block kneelers, and end stacks on the main roof, with a pent roof over the wing.
