Description
The School House, originally the schoolmaster's residence and now a house, dates from 1836 and has been altered over time. It is constructed of pecked coursed squared stone and features a Welsh slate roof with ashlar coping, ridge, and stacks. The building is one and a half storeys high and consists of two bays. It has a plinth and a gabled porch on the left side, which includes a chamfered, round-cornered doorway with a part-glazed door. The gable features a dated and initialled shield, along with shaped kneelers and coping. The upper floor has 12-pane sash windows that rise through the eaves under gablets. The building also has shaped kneelers and shouldered corniced end stacks.
