Description
This is a ruin located 5 meters north of 'Winepress' on the Beaulieu Manor Estate, dating from the late 13th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and is part of the 'Winepress', as indicated by excavations conducted between 1900 and 1910. The ruin was separated from the 'Winepress' when a 20th-century road was built between them. The structure consists of a wall that stands 2.5 meters high and appears to support the end of an embankment running north-south. At each end of the wall, there are additional walls at right angles, which now function as buttresses. This ruin is situated within the Abbey ruins, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
