Description

Low Wood Bridge is a bridge dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, constructed of stone rubble. It features three elliptical arches and has two round cutwaters on each side, which are roughcast and topped with caps. The parapet has plain coping. The bridge is likely linked to the Low Wood ironworks, a site that was later converted for gunpowder production, of which the remains of the Clock Tower works are still present.
