Description
Thorn House is a 17th-century building constructed of stone and slate rubble, topped with a graded slate roof and featuring a central chimney. It has two low storeys, with the main entrance located on the gable end, which has a modern window above it. The rear facade facing the road includes stone steps leading up to a wooden spinning gallery, situated above the former main entrance, and features a catslide roof that extends down to the dairy. Although the front is currently obscured, it is noted to have six new small casement windows on the upper floor and a slate dripstone over the ground floor. The interior is reported to contain carved panelling and an old cupboard.
