Description
Cotehow is a house, likely built in the late 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of roughcast stone and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed with single glazing bars, although the third bay features only a small window on the ground floor. The entrance is located between the second and third bays, and there is a window, likely originally an entrance, between the first and second bays. The house has a gable-end stack and a cross-axial stack. At the rear, there is an outshut under a catslide roof, which is built into the slope of the ground. Inside, the property features chamfered beams and a fireplace with a heck partition, as well as a spice cupboard door with marquetry.
