Description
Thrang Crag is a farmhouse, likely built in the early 18th century. It features painted rubble walls and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with four bays, although the first bay may have been added later. Most windows are sashed with single glazing bars, except for the first bay, which has all glazing bars, and the fourth bay on the ground floor, which has a casement window. The second bay includes paired sashes with a recessed flat-faced mullion. The entrance in the third bay has a half-glazed door and a gabled porch. The building has gable-end stacks and a large cross-axial stack. At the rear, there is a gabled wing and an outshut beneath a catslide roof, with varied window styles. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered beams, with the beam over the fireplace being cambered.
