The building has two storeys with two windows on each floor, a lean-to bee-bole, and an end chimney that partly projects. The rear wing to the east is constructed of stone rubble and includes a wood-mullioned window along with an oriel that has five lights in front and one light on each side, supported by wood beams. The gable end features external stone steps leading up to a loft on the upper floor. For additional context, refer to the general group description under Troutbeck Village.
