Description
The Birket Monument, located approximately 2 meters south of St Martin's Church, is a monument dated 1699. It is constructed from stone rubble with an ashlar top slab. The slab features a moulded edge and inscriptions that are difficult to read, commemorating Richard Birket, who was a benefactor of the church and served as its curate for 67 years.
