Description
Rothay Manor Hotel, built around 1835, features a white-washed roughcast exterior over stone rubble and a slate roof with deeply overhanging eaves. The south front showcases three long French windows on the upper floor and four below, along with a central door that is flanked by a cast iron verandah and balcony. Each end of the building has a lower wing that mirrors this design, consisting of one bay wide with a continuous verandah. Some of the rear windows have labels. Additionally, there is a low octagonal glass-house of the same date attached to the east.
