Description

The kitchen garden walls, located approximately 10 metres east of Heddon Hall, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of unrendered stone rubble topped with slate capping. The walls enclose the garden on all four sides and feature shallow buttresses at regular intervals. The front (south) wall is lower and has a series of elongated rectangular openings along its length, positioned below the capping. There is a semi-circular arched entrance in the left (west) wall, which includes a wrought iron gate, and a cambered arched entrance in the south-east corner.
