Description

The Smyth Headstone, located approximately 14 metres south-west of the west tower of the Church of St. Petrocks in Parracombe, is a Grade II listed headstone dating from 1846, created by Watts. It is made of slate and features a straight-headed design. The headstone is adorned with urns on either side of a depiction of a hand cutting down a flower, accompanied by an inscription and verse dedicated to Elizabeth Smyth, who passed away in 1846.
