Description
This bridge, located approximately 15 metres south of Leeford Bridge, was built in 1838. It is constructed from coursed rubblestone and features a single segmental arch made of voussoirs. The bridge has curved retaining walls at the abutments, with square end piers on the south side, and parapets topped with rubble copings. There is a weathered datestone above the arch on the west side, which bears an inscription that is mostly illegible, except for the date. The bridge once spanned a leat that supplied water to Brendon Mill, although this leat is now dry. The arch on the eastern side has been blocked.
