Description

Tamlyn Headstone is located approximately 10 metres south-east of the south-east corner of the south aisle of the Church of St. Petrocks in Parracombe. This headstone, dated 1847 and created by Watts, is made of slate and features a straight head. The top corners are decorated with tulips, and there is an angel's bust in the centre. The inscription commemorates John Tamlyn, who died in 1847.
