Description

Whitefield Headstone is located approximately 16 metres south-west of the west tower of the Church of St. Petrocks in Parracombe. This headstone, dating from the early 19th century and created by Watts, features a straight head with urns at the top corners. It bears an inscription and verse dedicated to John Whitefield R.N., who died in 1821, along with other family members.
