Description
The stable at Caseley Court, located about 25 metres south-east of the house, appears to be from the 19th century but features a date of 1613 carved on a quoin of the south-east gable. It is constructed of granite rubble with large granite quoins and has a roof covered with corrugated iron. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, there is a doorway and two windows with wooden lintels. The door is a plank design, with the upper and lower sections opening separately, framed with chamfered wood. The small-paned wooden windows include transom lights. Inside, there are good stable fittings, including cast-iron posts with moulded caps and wooden partitions with shaped tops. The floor is cobbled with drainage channels, and the upper floor features plain beams and joists that are in good condition.
