Description

Little Grey House is a house that dates from the 17th century and is located at the north-west end of a row of three houses, with its gable end facing the road. The house features solid, roughcast walls, likely made of stone or cob, and has a thatched roof. There are rendered chimneystacks on each gable, which have weatherings and tapered tops. The building has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, but due to its hillside location, the front door is situated on the second storey.

The house is two windows wide, with the doorway forming the third bay on the left. The windows are fitted with late 19th century or early 20th century wood casements. On the ground storey, there is a large two-light casement window on the right with three panes per light, and a smaller two-light casement window on the left with two panes per light. The second storey features two-light casements with 20th century leaded panes. The door has two flush panels below and four glazed 'bullseye' panes above. There is no window in the gable wall facing the road. The interior has not been inspected.
