This is an outbuilding located about 10 metres north-east of Lower Bonehill Farmhouse, possibly dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of granite rubble and has a roof covered with corrugated iron. The building is one storey high with a loft. On the east gable wall, there is a loft door featuring old wrought-iron hinges, and beneath this door are the remains of an external stone staircase. The roof timbers were added in the 20th century.
