Description
Langworthy Farmhouse, including the outbuilding on the left-hand side, is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features solid walls, likely made entirely of granite. The front wall of the house is roughcast, while the side wall is slate-hung, and the outbuilding has exposed masonry. Both structures have slated roofs and rendered chimneystacks on each gable of the house. The farmhouse has a two-room single-depth plan, originally with a central passage leading to a stair at the rear, although the ground-storey partitions have now been removed. It is two storeys tall with a symmetrical three-window front, featuring casements with glazing bars. The centre doorway is topped with a pent-roofed porch. The outbuilding to the left has a lean-to against its front wall. The interior of the house displays the simplest early to mid 19th-century details.
