Description
The lych gate and flanking walls, located approximately 20 metres south of the Church of St. Peter, date from the 19th century and may incorporate some fabric from the 17th century. The structure features stone rubble walls with large granite quoins and a gable-ended roof covered in scantle slate, adorned with decorative ridge tiles from the 19th century. The wooden lintels at the front and rear are chamfered and include bar stops. The gate is a tall double set from the 20th century. The flanking walls on either side are constructed with roughly coursed stones at the bottom, and the left-hand wall includes a mullion window head.
