Description

The Village Cross, likely dating from the 15th century, was restored in 1891. It features an octagonal granite shaft that is set in a chamfered octagonal base. The Latin head on the cross is a restoration. The base is elevated on three steps, which may also date from the restoration. The shaft had been lost for over a century before being rediscovered and placed on its pedestal in 1891.
