Description
Blackmoor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slated roof. A large chimney is located on the rear wall. The layout appears to consist of two rooms with an agricultural section at the left-hand end, resembling a longhouse. The building is two storeys high, with the house part featuring three windows and a doorway to the left. The windows are small-paned wood casements, and there is a late 19th-century entrance porch. The left-hand section has doorways on both the ground and upper storeys, with the upper doorway featuring a lean-to wooden porch that is accessed by a flight of stone steps. To the right, there is a lower section that has a domestic character and seems to have been converted from a farm building.
