Description

Sticklepath Bridge is a road bridge over the River Taw, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from snecked blocks of rusticated granite ashlar and features two spans, each with a segmental arch that rises from vertical abutments. Between the arches, a pointed cutwater extends into the parapet, creating small refuges on either side of the road. The parapet is topped with plain granite coping and does not have terminal piers.
